May 1st is National Loyalty Day, a day originally set aside for the reaffirmation of loyalty to the United States and for the recognition of the heritage of American freedom. Inspired by this national holiday, we asked the Gonzaga community what “being a loyal Zag” means to them.
@Abroad_GonzagaU: Being part of Zag Nation no matter where you are in the world!
@GonzagaLibrary: Being a #Zag means providing an intellectual environment where creativity and collaboration can flourish!
@GonzagaMBA: Being a #Zag means educating courageous business leaders concerned with promoting the common good.
Several others weighed in on Facebook, too:
We are grateful to have so many loyal Zags in our community of alumni, parents, students, friends, faculty and staff. It is through your loyalty that the mission of the University can be pursued and carried out.
How do YOU show loyalty?
We’d love to hear from you; leave a comment below telling us what being a loyal Zag means to you.
