Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project Matching Grant

Two local Spokane-area attorneys have pledged a $2,000 matching gift to fund one full-time summer public interest grant for the Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project (GPILP).

A $4,000 grant provides a summer living stipend for a Gonzaga Law student who would otherwise perform 10 weeks of full-time, uncompensated public interest legal work over the summer.

In 2014, the GPILP enabled more than 1,650 total service hours in legal public interest work and provided four grants for a total of $12,000. Read more about the GPILP, the students who have received grants in 2014 and 2013, as well as their work that has been supported through the program on the Gonzaga Law Blog at law.gonzaga.edu.

If you, Gonzaga Law alumni and friends, help GPILP raise $2,000 prior to their February 6 auction, the anonymous donors will match this amount to provide a full $4,000 grant. The results of this fundraising campaign will be announced at the GPILP Auction on February 6.

To donate towards this matching gift, please send a check made out to the Gonzaga Public Interest Law Project to:
