First, thank you for the continuous care and support you show to the Gonzaga University community each year. We are so grateful for loyal Zags like you, who put your passion and pride for Gonzaga into action through your annual philanthropic gifts. Gonzaga Will: The Campaign for Our Future is making great strides toward ensuring quality Jesuit education for all who seek it because of your generosity.
We understand that the last few days of the year can be very important for meeting tax deadlines, and we are here to help make the process go smoothly for you for the remainder of December into the beginning of January. Please note the Development Office’s upcoming hours of operation during the Christmas and New Year’s holidays:
December 5-9, 12-16 & 19-22: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
December 23-26: The University will be closed; however, if you have an immediate need over the holidays, you may contact Stephanie Rockwell, Director of Individual Giving, at (509) 279-8921. We also encourage you to use our online giving website to make a gift with a Visa, Discover or Mastercard. If you would like to gift appreciated stock, or if you are 70 ½ or older and would like to make a tax-free IRA rollover gift, please contact the Office of Planned Giving at (509) 313-6141 or email plannedgiving@gonzaga.edu.
December 27 – 29: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
December 30 – January 2: The University will be closed; however, for gift assistance on December 31, call (509) 279-8921.
December 31: Last day for this tax year’s charitable donations! Make a gift via credit or debit card online at gonzagawill.com/giveonline, or have your gift postmarked prior to December 31 if you want to send your gift by mail. Time crunched or no internet? Call Stephanie Rockwell at (509) 279-8921 to give over the phone or schedule a check drop off.
January 3: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Additionally, we want to share our gratitude for the more than 13,200 donors who graciously gave to the University last year. For a 2016 summary of your donations, Gonzaga will be mailing you a statement in late January. If you do not receive a January statement please contact us at (800) 463-6925. While this cannot replace your original tax receipt, we hope it will help in your planning.
