Gonzaga offered blessings to its strongest academic class yet during the annual “Welcome Walk” on the north side of College Hall. Faculty, staff and current students lined the brick walkway to cheer for the 1,265 new Zags on their way to Academic Convocation at St. Al’s. This year’s incoming class boasts 16 student body presidents, 84 class presidents or officers, 710 with leadership experience, 309 members of student government and over 1,000 involved in volunteerism. The Gonzaga community’s commitment to scholarships and giving back will help theses new Zags throughout their path.
