Gifts to scholarships are much-needed in today’s challenging economic times. Students rely on financial aid to help them complete their degrees. Your gift to Regional Scholarships, the Fund for Gonzaga and the Gonzaga Scholars Program are vital to our students. With “Zag, You’re It,” giving to Gonzaga is easy and fun and illustrates that generosity is contagious!
Not only is a gift encouraged, but sharing of the giving message with fellow Zag friends, alumni and community members is a component to the game. Just like the game of tag – we are encouraging potential donors to “pass it on to pay it forward” quickly and to as many people as possible.
The special video, viewable on the ZagTag website, illustrates the “pass it on, pay it forward” concept by following a blue envelope as it passes from alum to parent to student and more. The envelope contains a financial aid message that ultimately ends up in the hands of a deserving and talented student.
Please remember that for GU students, you’re it. Join us this year and maximize your gift to help students receive an exceptional and transformational Jesuit education. And, remember that giving to Gonzaga shouldn’t happen as a one to one transaction, but be shared with others to allow support to grow. Go Zags!
