Fall Family Weekend – Reminder

Tons and tons of parents and family members together with a number of returning alums will be descending on the GU campus a week from now – and we are looking forward to greeting all of you!  Start by picking up your Fall Family Weekend folder in the 1898 Room (just inside the main entrance to College Hall).  This is a great place to meet your student and, while you wait, you can munch on a cookie, have a cup of tea or coffee, and read the latest copy of the Gonzaga Bulletin.  Please remember that we are holding a campus-wide Food Drive during FFW and we hope that all students, parents, faculty, staff and alums can help us stock the shelves at Second Harvest Food Bank.  Together, we will make a difference.

If you have not yet registered for FFW and you suddenly find that you can attend, it is not too late to register.  Go to www.gonzaga.edu/ffw and then click Online Registration; we will make sure that we have a FFW folder ready and waiting for you.  Check with your student – might there be a roommate or friend whose parents can’t attend FFW?  If so, please consider adding him/her to your family for the weekend.  One last thing:  the weather is getting cooler, so make sure that you bring some warm clothing.
