By: Rudy Mondragón
The Black History 101 Mobile Museum will be visiting Gonzaga University for the first time ever on Friday February 25 from 10am-5pm in the Crosby Student Center. In recognition of Black History Month, the Black Student Union in collaboration with Social Justice Club, Unity Multicultural Education Center, GSBA, and Programming Board have worked consciously to bring the Black History 101 Mobile Museum’s Necessary! exhibit, which will expose the Gonzaga community to over 150 historical artifacts from the life of revolutionary leader, Malcolm X. Along with the exhibit, founder and curator of the museum, Khalid el-Hakim will also be present to answer questions and interact with our students!
This all day museum event is FREE and open to the public. Plan ahead, mark your calendar, and we will see you February 25!
