Possible additional cuts to Washington State Financial Aid

This past year we have experienced a significant cut to our Washington State Work Study Program.  Before fall semester began GU was notified that the State was holding back 10% of our State Need Grant Allocation  in case there were further state budget cuts.  Later this week the State revenue forecast will be updated and released.  It is expected that the news will not be good and necessitate further state budget cuts.   If you are a Washington resident please contact your state legislator and encourage them to exclude state financial aid programs from further cuts.  An easy way to contact your legislator is by using this tool:  http://capwiz.com/naicu/wa/home/.
