Unity Multicultural Education Center Presents
The Second Annual Diversity Monologues
Gonzaga University’s second annual Diversity Monologues, a competition that gives Gonzaga students a forum to engage their creativity and share their experiences with diversity, will begin at 7 p.m., Thursday, March 29 in the Jepson Center’s Wolff Auditorium. It is free and open to the public.
The program, which allows students to express their lived experiences through their own personal cultural lenses, consists of two distinct parts. The first half of the program involves 9 student contestants sharing their work, followed by an hour long performance by Shihan The Poet, the former talent director of Def Poetry Jam and a National Poetry Slam Champion. The following are the student contestants for this year’s event:
