What Can Students Do if They Want to Work in Summer?
In January, right after they returned from winter break, students were encouraged to apply for Summer Work Study by completing the on-line Summer Financial Aid Application. Students who applied and received either Summer on or off campus work study will be able to see what jobs are available to apply for on March 25.
If students are looking for an institutional job on campus (one paid for by the department’s budget) they should begin talking with departments now. Everything is very scaled down in the Summer so there aren’t a lot of these on-campus jobs available.
The Community Job Board is a great way to get a job as there are lots of Spokane area individuals and businesses who want to hire our students. Students can check this out at www.gonzaga.edu/studentemployment.
Students are always encouraged to visit us personally in Student Employment, College Hall 126, to talk about their work options for Summer.
