Student Financial Services: Reminders and Information

With summer in full-swing, it’s easy to forget about the next steps for Financial Aid and the Office of Student Accounts. The most important reminder for students is to keep checking their Zagmail email account. All communication to students will be to their Zagmail account, and our offices will be sending out reminders and important information throughout the summer. Here are a few other items to keep on your radar this summer:

Financial Aid Office

• Students should accept their 2015-16 Financial Aid award offers, if they have not done so already, on Zagweb (GU’s online student portal).
• Remind students to respond to any requests for missing information. Students need to complete any “Unsatisfied Disbursement Requirements” listed on Zagweb.
• Students who are accepting loans need to complete Loan Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note on studentloans.gov.
• Students should report any outside scholarships in the “Resources/Additional Information” section of Zagweb.

Office of Student Accounts

• If you would like to set up an 8-month Payment Plan, the application deadline is August 3^rd. More information is available on the website: gonzaga.edu/studentaccounts under “payment plans.”
• If you are planning to pay the fall semester balance in full, the payment deadline is August 7^th.
• The deadline for your student to submit an ID photo for their ZAGCARD is August 16^th. More information is available on the website: gonzaga.edu/zagcard under “request your zagcard.”
