Get Your Family Time Fix October 9-11: Fall Family Weekend is a time for families to visit their students and experience any one of about 100 slices of real campus life. Join the energy and creativity of the new Hemmingson Center, hike locally with Gonzaga Outdoors, or engage with faculty in a lecture or activity session designed just for you. Gonzaga University’s next Presidential Speaker will be the current head of state of Liberia, and winner of the 2011 Nobel Prize for Peace, President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf. Her lecture will be featured in the McCarthey Athletic Center at 7pm on Sunday, October 4. A limited number of complimentary tickets will be available for Gonzaga students. Commencement weekend is May 7, 8 and 9, with special activities on Friday, Mass on Saturday afternoon, and the undergraduate student commencement ceremony on Sunday. The schedule will be set by mid-September, but consider making your lodging arrangements now!
