Commencement 2017 – Here Before You Know It

 

Hello, Senior Parents!  May 12-14 is the weekend to celebrate your student’s college achievement and life at Gonzaga.  You will want to arrive on Friday afternoon, as there are often smaller program and special events that evening.  Join us for mass on Saturday afternoon, and the undergraduate commencement ceremony on Sunday morning.

The final timing schedule for each event will be confirmed in mid-September, and you’ll get a postcard announcement with the details.  Last year’s schedule is up for reference – at this point, nothing on the schedule would shift more than 30 minutes, and we will follow the same pattern as far as how the days flow.  See details at www.gonzaga.edu/commencement.

For now, we want to you make note of the weekend dates, and encourage you to make hotel arrangements as soon as possible!  We share the celebration weekend with Washington State University, and many of those guests stay in Spokane hotels.  Use all your best travel planning tools to find the best deal, or if you’ve visited us and stayed in a favorite place, give them a call to see what you can work out for this high-traffic weekend.
