Reminders for Families of Senior Students

Senior families, congratulations, your student is nearing the finish line! Please join us to celebrate graduation at Commencement Weekend, May 12-14, 2017 — also Mother’s Day weekend.

The main weekend events are set — Commencement Mass on Saturday afternoon and the Undergraduate Commencement on Sunday morning.  Be aware the overall schedule will continue to take shape until late February, as special celebrations are added in, many of which take place on Friday afternoon/evening. Your first order of business is lodging!  Hotels in Spokane fill quickly for this weekend each year, due to Mother’s Day and because we share the acknowledgement of academic achievement on these dates with Washington State University. The hotel industry tends to treat this weekend as a blackout time where it’s possible that a special Gonzaga rate won’t apply. Utilize your favorite travel planning tools and connections to find the best deal you can.
