News from the Center for Global Engagement
Zags from around the world enjoyed snow tubing at Mt. Spokane on February 24. Despite the cold temperatures, everyone had a great time!
The CGE is currently sending various staff members abroad on recruiting trips, everywhere from Brazil to Japan to Singapore (and many more). On these tips, our teams meet with partner institutions, prospective students and parents, as well as agents and high school counselors. Every year, Gonzaga admits outstanding international applicants and we are very proud to continue building our global Zagfam!
News and Updates from Study Abroad:
In the next few months, staff members from the Study Abroad office will be travelling abroad to do site visits in Cambodia and at our campus in Florence. We do these site visits to be able to assess the location, staff, and courses in person. We are also assessing the programs through the lens of risk management and mitigation. Our site visits allow us to adhere to our commitments of offering academically challenging and safe programs abroad.
Our office is also seeing a lot of freshman coming in to inquire about their study abroad options. Please encourage your student, whatever year they may be, to come and make an appointment with an advisor to discuss their options.
