Summer Session is a Smart Decision
Online and On-Campus Classes
Summer will be here before we know it. Depending on what may be best for your student, please encourage them to make the most of it by taking classes online or on campus during Summer Session at Gonzaga. Registration opens March 19. Look for a bright postcard arriving in the mail over spring break. This is a great time to talk summer plans with your student.
Summer Session is a smart way for your student to:
Get ahead (or catch up) on credits
Complete core requirements
Take advantage of online courses
Stay on track before or after studying abroad
Schedule classes around a summer job or internship
In addition to traditional face-to-face classes on our beautiful campus, Summer Session provides the unique opportunity to take online undergraduate courses. We offer two six-week sessions for utmost flexibility in maximizing the benefits of summer.
“Many students don’t realize undergraduate courses are offered online during the summer. This makes it so convenient to complete needed credits and stay on track while still having time to rest up, enjoy summer fun with family, and travel,” said Samantha Howell, Summer Sessions Coordinator.
“If your student is interested in staying in Spokane for the summer, housing is available and Career and Professional Development is here to help students find summer employment,” Samantha added. “I often hear from students that previously enrolled in Summer Sessions that Spokane is best experienced in the summer— check out Visit Spokane to see everything happening.”
Make sure your student checks out summer course offerings on Zagweb and talks with their academic advisor. Registration for summer classes begins on March 19. Contact the Financial Aid for information regarding financial assistance.
