As the semester draws to a close, we are getting ready for all kinds of transitions. Students are graduating and moving on to their next steps in life, and we are helping to prepare students to go abroad in the summer and fall. At the same time, we are also getting ready to welcome new international ESL students to campus the next week. This season of the academic year often gives way to reflection on all of our challenges, successes, and new pathways that have been forged. Thus, at the Center for Global Engagement, we would like to give thanks to all the supportive parents and families who have made it possible for their students to pursue their passions, international and otherwise, at GU. We have seen firsthand how international experiences significantly enrich and contribute to the education for the whole person. We hope that your student’s transformative years at Gonzaga have built resilience, openness, and a firm understanding of who they are in the world. As always, we look forward to watching this graduating class go forth and set the world on fire.
