Incoming Housing FAQ’s

Why does my son/daughter’s housing application show as incomplete? All incoming students have a “not complete” application until our office assigns housing sometime in the summer. However, the agreement becomes binding once the terms and conditions have been accepted.

When will my son or daughter know their room and roommate? Tentative building assignments are sent mid-July and room confirmation and roommate contact info will be sent by mid-August.

My son/daughter did not get any of their top choices. Why? The assignment process is based on the date the application terms and conditions are accepted, not date of confirmation or housing deposits. The demand for some living communities and housing styles exceed the supply. While we try to honor preferences, we do not guarantee assignment to any community.
