The John J. Hemmingson Center: What’s Inside?
By: Liz Higgins
You might have seen the Hemmingson Center when you dropped your student off at GEL weekend, on a campus tour or maybe you heard about it from a family friend.
The Center was built with students in mind, and it brings to life Gonzaga’s rich history, educational experiences and serves as a gathering place for students, staff, faculty and the greater Spokane community.
At its core, the Hemmingson Center is an imaginative place reflecting our vision of what it means to support students who attend a premier Jesuit university. Its intentional design showcases the Gonzaga experience with exciting, innovative opportunities to live in community, and meet, learn, discover, and grow in every aspect of life: mind, body and spirit.
So what can your student actually do and experience here? Simple answer: a lot.
