HOUSING AND DINING IMPORTANT DATES
FALL SEMESTER 2010
Thanksgiving Break Week
All residence buildings will remain accessible to fall semester occupants. However, residents must notify their Residence Director if the plan to stay all or part of the break.
The Marketplace Dining Hall (COG) will be open during regular hours on Tuesday (11/23), brunch and dinner hours on Wednesday (11/24), Friday (11/26), Saturday (11/27), and Sunday (11/28). Additionally, students are invited to attend a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday (11/25).
Closing for Christmas Break (Incl. Check-out for Residents Not Returning for the Spring Semester)
Residence buildings (except for Burch, Corkery, Kennedy, and Dussault 101 to 107) close for the Christmas break. Residents must vacate their room within 24 hours of your last final exam or by Friday, December 17, at 10 am (whichever occurs first). At this time, most building entrances will be re-keyed and kept locked until the spring semester opening on Sunday, January 9, 2011.
Residents of Burch, Corkery, Kennedy, and Dussault 101 to 107 must notify their Residence Director if the plan to stay all or part of the break.
The last meal served in the Marketplace Dining Hall (COG) is dinner on the Friday of Finals Week (12/17)
SPRING SEMESTER 2011
Opening After Christmas Break (Incl. Check-in for New Spring Semester Residents)
Residence halls reopen for the spring semester on Sunday, January 9, 2011 at 10 am. New residents may check-in at their assigned building.
The first meal served in the Marketplace Dining Hall (COG) is dinner on Sunday (1/9).
Spring Break
All residence buildings will remain accessible to spring semester residents. However, residents must notify their Residence Director if the plan to stay all or part of the break.
The Marketplace Dining Hall (COG) will be closed during spring break. The last meal served is dinner on Friday (3/4) and the first meal served at the end of spring break is dinner on Sunday (3/13)
Check-Out
Saturday, May 7, 2011 12:00 pm (noon):
Residents must vacate their room within 24 hours of your last final exam or by Saturday, May 7, 2011 at noon (whichever occurs first). Those graduating or needing an extension to these deadlines should contact2 their Resident Director well in advance.
The last meal served in the Marketplace Dinning Hall (COG) is dinner on the Friday (5/6) of finals week.
