Our Blog

Every October, Gonzaga University hosts Fall Family Weekend (October 21-23, 2011) – the Gonzaga version of parent weekend.  At GU, we really do mean Fall Family Weekend – events are open to all parents, siblings, grandparents and godparents (yes, even the family dog has been seen on campus a time or two).  The events over this special weekend give families and their students an opportunity to spend quality time together and gain a glimpse into campus and academic life.  PLEASE NOTE:  our academic neighbor in Spokane will be holding their parent event on the same weekend as Gonzaga’s FFW.  Please, don’t delay – make your travel and hotel reservations as soon as possible.

You will be receiving a paper copy of the FFW registration material.   You don’t have to wait, however!  Go online to www.gonzaga.edu/ffw where you will find a Schedule of Events and some of the weekend highlights together with a link which will allow you to register for FFW. Be aware!  There will be a zillion more events taking place during FFW than you will see in the registration material; that’s because all of our creative students will be dreaming up fun activities to do with you when you arrive.

Remember, Fall Family Weekend is not just an event for the parents and family members of our first-year students. Our sophomores, juniors and seniors love to have company, too. If you have questions, please contact me via e-mail at prusch@gu.gonzaga.edu or at (509) 313-5571.
