Our Blog

Being part of a Zag family is a shared experience across many facets of our lives.  With two Zag students, we have had the chance to continue to participate with our children as they grow further as individuals.

As part of the greater community of Gonzaga, our family continues to have shared experiences as our children have entered further into adulthood.  Because the school stretches its reach both on and off campus, we benefit as the parents of two students who continue to develop the lives they choose to lead, and build upon whom they want to be.  The shared experiences are what allow us to remain close to one another as a Zag family and connected to something larger than just our own household.

On and off campus, in Spokane, and at home in California, Gonzaga is a continuing experience that carries our family forward.  When our children were first away, we attended a visiting lecture series in our own region.  Along with other parents, we enjoyed a night of learning as a Zag professor enlightened us about the history of rock music.

While we have even participated at home, our children have benefited at school on campus with the DREAM program and student services.  Both have been well cared for as they have managed health issues and challenges that came as a significant surprise to our family.

The greater Zag community has been present for us in countless ways and the shared college experience with our children has made Gonzaga more than just a school they chose.
