It’s that time of year again… the 2014 Gonzaga calendar will be mailed this month to all of our generous donors. Complete with photos highlighting our students’ various activities, this special piece features different parts of campus life.

The theme this year comes from St. Ignatius of Loyola, who said, “Go forth and set the world on fire.” This is more relevant than ever in the 21st century, as global engagement has become a necessary component in a liberal arts education. No matter their chosen profession, our students have the opportunity to set the world ablaze every day on campus, abroad and through internships, where companies are eager to recruit Gonzaga students.

The calendar also highlights the exciting new development of The John J. Hemmingson University Center, which will undoubtedly allow Gonzaga students the necessary environment in which to expand their ideas and nurture their desire to go forth into the world and make real change. The many opportunities available on campus that are showcased in this year’s calendar accentuate the excitement of being a Zag, year after year.

Consider making a gift to the University to help sustain these exemplary opportunities that continue to comprise the Gonzaga experience, and ensure your receipt of the special calendar memento. Visit gonzaga.edu/giveonline to make a donation, and be the spark that ignites the flame that sets the world on fire.
