Spring Semester is upon us, and our Zags are starting to make lots of decisions for the fall. Your student has (hopefully) been contemplating where they would like to live next fall, and what kind of meal plan they want. Something to keep in mind is that even if your student is moving off-campus, that doesn’t mean they are cut off from access to meal plans.

Community Meal Plans are great to consider because although living off-campus allows a student to be more independent, sometimes schedules are chaotic and don’t leave adequate time to cook a decent meal. Other times, your student is simply too tired or uninterested to do so.  In addition, having a meal plan will result in dollars saved, as well as gas! The mileage starts to add up on the car when you are hitting up places around town all the time. Having a meal plan also allows your student to remain connected to campus, and more importantly, the community. A lot of people believe the best memories are made in the kitchen or dining room. We believe that’s true! Everybody has to eat, and with a tight- knit school such as ours, there’s no doubt that your student will find someone to join him at the BARC.

There are meal plan options to fit any student’s needs or situation. They can get anywhere from 10 to 50 meals per semester, along with Bulldog Bucks which work on and off campus, making their choices endless. Wherever you student lives next fall, having one of our meal plans can ease the hassle of a busy schedule and also provide a change of pace for those times when they don’t feel like cooking or going to a pricey restaurant. We hope you will consider a meal plan as your student makes the transition from spring to fall.
