Our Blog

As part of the Gonzaga family, you’ll likely receive communications from the Office of University Advancement, a division at Gonzaga University that includes the Alumni Association, Marketing and Communications, and the Development Office. We are here for all Zags and Zag families, and we look forward to keeping in contact with you throughout the years. Here’s a primer on who we are and what we do for you:

  • The Alumni Association welcomes the participation of GU alumni, parents and families in all services. Whether you’d like to attend regional chapter events, mentor a student or Hire a Zag, the Alumni Association would like you to know that you have a standing invitation. Learn more about programming within the Alumni Association at org.
  • Through Marketing and Communications, we strive to keep you informed and involved with the exciting things happening here on campus and provide several platforms for staying connected to GU—whether that includes news from your alma mater, information about your student’s education or the alumni network available—we cover it all. Communications include Gonzaga Magazine, Parent & Family News, the Gonzaga News Service, several social media platforms like the Gonzaga University Facebook page and much more. Check out the offerings at edu/marcom.
  • The Development Office provides a variety of opportunities for parents and family members to help make the Gonzaga Experience all that it is. You may hear from us via direct mail, email or from one of our student telefund callers throughout the year. By talking with our students, you help them build connections with the GU community and build skills that benefit both themselves and the University. Funds raised go toward supporting scholarships, research opportunities, athletic and student development programs, facilities, clubs and so much more. There is a strong tradition of giving back to Gonzaga, and we encourage you to join in the effort. Giving through GU makes a difference for students immediately. We are truly grateful for the role you play in the Gonzaga family. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Go Zags!
